Franz Langenberg, Prague ->
The family Langenberg is of the South German nobility in the XI. century; this family is related to the imperial families of Carolingians and Hohenstaufen.

Nicolas Pierre Xydakis, Athens
An old Byzantine Family, their name appeared first in 1265. A number of his ancestors held high positions with the emperors of Byzantium, one of them negotiated with the Venetian Republic relative to possessions in the archipelago.

Carlo Alberto Maria, Count Grillenzoni, Athens ->

The family Strykienicz-Korzón (coat of arms: long tailed monkey) is of Polish Lithuanian origin from the surroundings of Minsk and Wilno and their name has been known already in the XIV. century. The famous Polish historian Thadeusz Korzón is descended from this family.

Descendent of a very old noble family of Transsylvania; Gabriel Bethlen, Prince of Transsylvania, was elected King of Hungary and was an ally of King Gustaf Adolf of Sweden in the Thirty Years War. Akusius Bethlen, Diplomat, was author of a Transsylvanian History. Franz Bethlen, Senator of Transsylvania, published a Hungarian Code of Law in 1653.

Ancestors: Stephen de Harsanyi, martyr, had been sent to the gallows by the Austrian Catholic General in 1675, and he refused to change his confession.

In 1711 a branch of the family emigrated with Prince Démètre Cantemir of Moldavia to Charkhow in Russia under the Tsar Peter the Great. The son of this ancestor was named Toma and he became a general of the Empress Ecaterina II. of Russia. and was made a member of nobility in 1803, later died in fighting near Moscow against Napoleon in September 1813; his son Jacov Vladimir Nicolas was born on the Don/Voronzeh in 1854, later became a doctor in Jena in 1875 and lived out his days in Nice, France.

She is descended from 7 reigning princes of Wallachia and Moldavia. Prince Maurocordato Jean I. negotiated the Peace Treaty with England at Passarowitz in 1722. Prince Alexandre fought for Greek independence with Byron at Missolonghi, was a friend of Byron and Shelley, the latter having dedicated his ode Hellas to Prince Alexandre Maurocordato.

Nikolaus Bethlen 1727-1772, was a Commander of a regiment of Hungarian Hussars in the Seven Years War.

Johann Quirin Jahn (1739-1802) was a well known painter of alterpieces

Karl Tschuppik, Vienna ->
Franz Tschuppik, officer in the army of the Empress Maria Theresia, fell in the battle of Prague in 1757.

His ancestors were proprietors at the government Mohilow in Poland in 1772.
