received a diploma in Salonica, and finished his studies as engineer for roads and bridges in Constantinople.

Félix Avedik, Budapest ->
studied art with F. Szablya-Frischoff in Budapest.

Eftim Baba, Ankara ->
attended the School of Priests in Zendjidere.

Majer, Samuel Balaban, Lwów ->
had a private Jewish education; attended the Universities in Lwów and Vienna; and made archive studies in Cracow, Warsaw, Berlin and Posnan.

Oskar Baum, Pilzen ->
studied at the Jewish Asylum for the Blind, Vienna where he learned Piano and Organ.

Constantin Bedreag, Jassy ->
In 1926 he studied with Professor N. Bohr at his institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Helmi Einer, Tallinn ->
She was educated in Oudova, Russia at a girl's college and began with singing lessons while she was in school. Later she had private singing lessons in Petersburg and Rome with Professor E. Rosatti.

Omer Fortuzi, Tirana ->
studied over seven years in a Turkish College; graduated from college in Italy; and studied economic and social sciences at the University of Rome.

Mehdi Frasheri, Frasheri ->
graduated from college at Janina and the Licée at Monastir and completed studies at the school of Polytechnical Sciences in Constantinople with a diploma in 1897.

Juozas (Joseph) Gabrys (Gabriess), Kaunas ->
was a student of the Institute for Traffic Engineering in Moscow, (7 seminaries), and was mobilized in 1916 and graduated.

Ernest Galvanauskas, Vabalninkas ->
attended the Mining School of Empress Catherina II. in Petersburg; and later the Mining School and the Institute of Electricity "Montepuron" in Liège, Belgium.

Milan Glavinic, Belgrade ->
attended College in Belgrade; architectural studies in Berlin, Dresden, and Zurich; history of art and esthetic in Dresden and Zurich; urbanism in Germany, Switzerland, France, England and Italy.

Bohuslav Glos, Vsetin ->
attended the Commercial Academy in Olomouc; High school of Commerce (University at Prague), Engineer 1929. He is a Fellow of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, U.S.A. (Bachelor of Art, 1930).

Felix Goller, Podebrady ->
attended the Hiher School of Commerce. Through his frequent travels abroad he acquired wide experiences by means of which he gained here as well as abroad a reputation as an eminent expert in banking.

Anna (penname: Haava) Haavakivi, Kodavere-Pala, Haavakivi talus ->
First lessons were with her mother, then with private teachers in the country. College was with a private teacher and examinations were in Tartu.

Bohumil Hradecny, Prostejov ->
attended the school for Weaving; the Fencing and Gymnastic Institute; and the Academy of Fine Arts at Karlsruhe, Germany.

Bronislaw Huberman, Vienna, XII ->
came in September, 1892 to Joachim in Berlin and had lessons with Joachim's pupil Markees until January 1893, finishing his lessons with Joachim in the summer of 1893. During the same time he took lessons with Grigorowitsch, whom he appreciates as his best teacher. Afterwards, he had (11 years) no more real lessons, but profited by music.

She studied at home with french and english teachers.

studied painting in Munich from 1900-1902.

studied Slavonic languages, and was personally acquainted with all Slavic countries and languages.

Jeanne Stephanopoli, Athens ->
She was the first woman student at a Greek University.

Alexander Stulhofer, Zagreb ->
While he studied at the University he was very active with the Serbo-Croatian youth movement and was repeatedly pursued by the Austro Hungarian authorities.
