She was living in Russia up to 1912 and began singing lessons while
she was in school. Later in Petersburg, she participated to the
Estonian Society circles in Petersburg and also to the performances
and concerts of the Estonian and Russian Theaters. In 1912 she was
invited to Estonia with the operetta troup of the theater "Estonia"
first as a soubrette, than as primadonna. In 1918 there was founded,
assisted by her influence, an opera-troup attached to the theater
where she was the first singer (primadonna). She was also singing in
symphonic concerts and gave her own concerts in Estonia as well as in
foreign countries. In 1932 she was nominated teacher of the Estonian
State Music High school. Her most famous parts: operettas: Silva, Mariza, Madame
Pompadour, Bajadere, Hollandanna; operas: Traviata, Eugen Onegin,
Pique Dame, Flying Dutchman, Lohengrin, Tannhäuser, Tosca,
Bohème. She is fond of agriculture, specially of cultivating
gardens and she is a Landed Proprietor in South-Estonia.

She had her first stage engagement in Budapest and made her Debut as
an opera singer in 1921 with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. She
has sung in the U.S.A. in almost every city and she debuted in
Vienna in 1925 as
"Butterfly" and created the "Turandot" in 1926 at the Dresden Opera
House. She sang later in Berlin, Vienna, Milan, Scala, Verona
"Arena", Coventgarden London, Paris Grande Opéra, in Budapest,
Belgium, Cairo, Alexandria, Czechoslovakia, etc.

is the Conductor of the Choir of the Polish War Refugees in Vienna.
He himself appreciates as his highest distinction the appreciation
and praise of Mr. Paderewski at the occasion of his jubilee in 1927,
