When the Bulgaro-Macedonian revolution broke out on the 5th of August 1903 he undertrained friendly relations to the Balkan Committee of London through the intermediary of Messrs. Brailsford, Baxton, James Bryce, Major Simon, etc. On the 7th of December he was promoted Prefect of Sérrés (Macedonia) and stayed there until September 1909.
